History and company profile
Phoenix Fabrikations was established in 1968 and specialized itself
in Nonwoven fabrics, which are not exactly meeting the very high first
quality specifications of the Nonwoven producers. As one of the first,
Phoenix introduced Nonwoven fabrics into the European industrial
wiping market. At that time, Nonwovens were still unknown, as rags
were used for wiping purposes. Together with a selected number of
exclusive distributors, Phoenix was successful introducing Nonwoven
wipers into wiping areas.
Phoenix is serving on four Nonwoven markets:
- Medical
- Hygiene
- Industrial wiping
- Technical Specialty fabrics
Today, Phoenix is serving above markets in more than 37 countries.
Because of the exclusive arrangements with Nonwoven producers,
Phoenix is able to offer a variety of Nonwoven fabrics in large
quantities, on a continuing basis and at below market prices. The
Nonwoven fabrics are available in both rolls and machine compressed
slabs (bales). In 2004 Phoenix has expanded its warehouse from 5000m2
up to 7500 m2. The large inventory enables Phoenix to make shipments
in a short time, which allows customers to have reduced stocks.
For specific requirements, Phoenix can offer additional slitting and
folding services.
In September 1998, Phoenix received as one of the first Nonwoven
trading companies its ISO 9002 certification. Accordingly, Phoenix
has obtained the ISO 9001:2000 Certificate in 2004.
